Vincent Villedieu, a Parisian painter, decided to devote himself to his pictorial passion as a second career.
Abstract painting appeared to be an obvious choice: Vincent Villedieu is interested in matter, in working with texture. In his studio in Montparnasse, he decided to create his own brushes, made from diverted tools. Through his abstract works, he relentlessly searches for the mark, the passing of time, the print of fading as an expression of the ephemeral aspect of all things. Thanks to his paintings, in which we can guess ropes, links, chains but also the sky, the clouds and the horizon, Vincent escapes.
