Two-tone lacquer finish: The two-tone effect obtained on this DOT is a process of superimposing layers of lacquer colours, dried and sanded between each application. At least 18 coats of lacquer are required to achieve the effect with depth in the material. Each piece is unique and may vary slightly in colour from one object to another. This is what gives it its handmade character.
